Most Kids Quit. Ours Don't.
Without a coach who holds them accountable, kids drift. Skills plateau. Confidence stays stuck. The difference is a structured environment where effort is required, respect is taught, and every student is pushed to their edge, not coddled past it. That is what this mat is for.
The academy Wichita Falls did not have.
Roger Perez has been training since middle school. He carried that obsession around the world during a 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force, training wherever he was stationed. When he came back to Wichita Falls and could not find an academy that matched the standard he wanted, he opened one. That was 2015.
Roger later met Carlos Machado at a seminar and joined the CMJJ Association. He now helps guide the global association while teaching every week in our room. Same standards as his teachers, applied honestly, every class.

Traditional Standards
Belt promotions are earned. Effort is expected. Respect for instructors and partners is non-negotiable. Same standards Roger learned, applied here every week.
Carlos Machado Lineage
Roger earned his Black Belt under Carlos Machado, an 8th-degree coral belt and the godfather of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Texas. He helps guide the global CMJJ Association.
Beginner Friendly, Every Class
Most students started with zero experience. The room scales to your level. No first-day embarrassment, no rushed progress, no shortcuts.
Roger Perez
Most parents walk in not knowing what to expect. Most adults have talked themselves out of starting three times already. Roger gets it. He started the same way.
Black Belt under Carlos Machado
Helps guide the global Carlos Machado Jiu-Jitsu Association. 20-year U.S. Air Force veteran. On the floor every week since 2015.
Roger Perez has grappled since middle school. He carried that obsession around the world during a 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force, training wherever he was stationed. When he returned to Wichita Falls and found no academy that matched the standard he wanted, he opened Dynamic Martial Arts in 2015. He later met Carlos Machado at a seminar and joined the CMJJ Association. Roger teaches the way he trained: discipline first, character before color of belt, and respect for everyone on the mat.

Questions families ask before that first class.
How old does my child need to be to start?
Cubs Jiu-Jitsu starts at age 4. From there students move into Kids Jiu-Jitsu and Kids Kickboxing at 7, and into Teen and Adult Jiu-Jitsu or Kickboxing at 13. Every program is built specifically for its age group.
What is the free trial?
Your first lesson is free. Your first full week of classes is free. Pick a time on the schedule, show up, train, and decide from there. No long-term contract.
What styles do you teach?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Gi and No-Gi, and kickboxing. The academy is a Carlos Machado Jiu-Jitsu affiliate. Roger Perez, the owner and head instructor, is a Black Belt under Carlos Machado.
Who is Carlos Machado?
Carlos Machado is an 8th-degree coral belt and the godfather of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Texas. He has been headquartered in Dallas for over 30 years. Our academy is part of his association.
I have never trained before. Can I still come in?
Yes. Most of our students started with zero experience. Beginners are welcome in every class, and instructors meet each student where they are.
How much does monthly tuition cost?
Monthly tuition runs between $120 and $200 depending on program type, class frequency, and membership level. The first lesson and first week are free, so you decide after you have seen it for yourself.
Do you have classes for women?
Yes. Our adult Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing rooms train women alongside men in every class. Jiu-Jitsu is built on leverage, not size or strength, which is part of why it is the most studied self-defense art for women.
My child needs more discipline. Will this help?
It helps because the standards are real. Belt promotions are earned, not handed out. Effort is expected. The change parents notice first usually shows up at home, not on the mat.
