Terms of Service

The short version. These terms cover how you use our website and our classes. Your first lesson and first week are free, with no obligation and no auto-charge. If you become a member, the agreement you sign at enrollment sets your price and billing, and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dynamicjiujitsu.com and the services provided by Dynamic Martial Arts, operated by Dynamic Martial Arts Center ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, submitting a form, starting our free trial, or enrolling in any program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or using our services, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using our services on behalf of a minor, you accept these Terms on the minor's behalf.

2. Programs and Services

We provide martial arts instruction, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing for kids, teens, and adults. Our program slate, age bands, and class lengths are listed at dynamicjiujitsu.com/programs. Schedules, class lengths, and instructor assignments may change. Current details are posted at the academy and on our website.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to enroll yourself or to agree to these Terms. A parent or legal guardian must enroll any student under 18 and is responsible for that student's account, payments, and conduct.

4. Free Trial

Our entry offer is a free first lesson and a free first week of classes.

  • The trial gives you access to age-appropriate classes during the trial period.
  • The trial does not auto-convert to a paid membership. No recurring charges start from the trial.
  • After your trial, you are under no obligation to enroll.

5. Memberships

If you enroll, your membership price, billing cycle, and start date are set in the member agreement you sign at enrollment. That signed agreement controls and prevails over any conflicting language in this document.

  • Billing recurs on the cycle stated in your member agreement.
  • Cancellation requires 30 days' written notice. Your membership and billing continue through that notice period, after which they end.
  • Specific rates, promotions, freezes, and refund terms are governed by your signed member agreement.

6. SMS Messaging Program

Our text-messaging program and its full consent terms are described in our Privacy Policy. Opting in is voluntary, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.

7. User Conduct

Visitors and members agree to follow the academy rules posted on the premises, treat staff and other students with respect, and follow safety instructions from instructors at all times. We may suspend or end access for anyone who endangers others or repeatedly breaks these rules.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on dynamicjiujitsu.com (text, images, logos, and videos) is the property of Dynamic Martial Arts Center or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without our written permission.

9. Assumption of Risk

Martial arts training, including grappling and striking, carries an inherent risk of physical injury. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept that risk for yourself and for any minor you enroll. You agree to train within your ability and to follow instructor guidance. Additional waiver and release terms are set out in the member agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, Dynamic Martial Arts Center is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Specific liability terms are set out in the member agreement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dynamic Martial Arts Center, its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of our services or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wichita County, Texas.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, either party may pursue the matter in the courts identified in Section 12.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
